The Madden high-temperature production logging tool (PLT) is rated 450 deg F and can be run in corrosive environments and at high temperatures and pressures. It incorporates the reliability, accuracy, and functionality of the best sensors and systems. This system records data to downhole memory in addition to sending data to the surface via the telemetry system. This allows for continuous data acquisition and minimizes pulling out of the hole if surface communications are lost. Onboard diagnostics allows correction and compensation of data while logging, providing quality control to cross reference acquired data to down hole events. Madden Tools

The PLT is easily reconfigured from real-time e-line mode to independent memory mode. The tools can be hoisted by slick-line, coiled tubing, braded cable standard e-line (including pump-down when applicable) or by down hole tractor. In memory mode, surface depth interface equipment records tool position in the well versus time for later merge-correlation with the down-hole acquired data. When real-time telemetry is intermittent, the tool continues to acquire data for later down load and merge.
